Wow! It has been a busy and exciting few weeks in the SAAL.
We have two more meets down with the Toby Schreier Flinders Pro Meet and Western Athletics Club Gift already done and dusted. It was great to welcome some new athletes at these meets and we hope they enjoyed the racing.
We sincerely thank the Flinders Athletic Club and Western Athletics Club for hosting. Photos have been posted for both meets and you can see them here.
SAAL Nominations
The Bay Sheffield nominations opened this week and we can’t wait for the big dance!

Burnside Athletic Carnival
We can’t wait to celebrate both the 10th Kensington Gift and the 150th birthday of Kensington Oval tomorrow. There are free activities for kids, a heritage zone and self guided history tour this year so bring the family along to enjoy a great day out.
**Please plan to arrive early as there are a number of events close by so parking is likely to be trickier than usual.**
Results Reminder
A reminder from the Chief Steward to check and make sure your results are complete and correct. There is a link to do this whenever you nominate. Or you can login and check here
We only upload results from Athletics South Australia and the Victorian Athletic League. All things outside that you need to manually enter HERE eg. All schools, masters etc.
You must ensure that results are provided before you next race with us.
Terry McAuliffe Athlete of the Meet
thanks to Vilis, the Athlete of the Meet at Flinders was Tyler Rowston who took home the sashes in the 120m Under 18, 400m Under 18 as well as second in the 800m Under 18.
Sue Turner had a great day out and took out the Athlete of the Meet when she won both the 120m Over 35 and 300m Over 35 at the Western Athletics Club Gift.
Series Updates
We are loving the increase of series running through our season this year and you can check out all the leaderboards for the Williams, Supreme Quilt Over 35 Series and Mort Daly Running Foundation Under 18 Series on our website or socials.
