Important SAAL Update

We are excited to announce our end of season picnic meet at Belair National Park!  The focus of this meet will be a fun and a celebration of a successful 2024/25 season.

The winery we had lined up for this year’s end of season is no longer suitable so we have chosen a more convenient location so you can join the fun. We have made the decision to postpone the Barossa Gift and hope to host this next season instead.  Belair is scheduled for the Sunday 16th of March 2025.

SAAL Update Summary

  • Mckinnon Parade Carnival – Location confirmed as Brighton Rugby – Earlybird closes this Sunday. Don’t miss it.
  • Barossa Gift – Cancelled
  • End of Season Party Meet moved to Belair on 16th March

The day will feature the grand finale of the Supreme Quilts McKinnon Reddaway Cup middle distance series in a double point 300m Over 35. You can get in on the action and have a race with non penalty 250m for all other categories. For those of you who like something longer there will a distance race scheduled also. All athletes will be handicapped to target time.

Racing will then switch to the fast and furious in short & sharp 60m sprints with a minimum of 3 runs guaranteed. More details on this soon!  All races will have sashes up for grabs and prizemoney.

The day will conclude with end of season award presentations

Take the opportunity to picnic at gorgeous Belair and lock in the date for a race or two to celebrate with us. Nominations will open soon.
