The City of Burnside Athletic Carnival is recognised as one of the South Australian Athletic League’s most esteemed meets. Top athletes will prepare for the Bay Sheffield by competing on one of Adelaide’s premier turf tracks, with race distances ranging from 70m to 1600m. The handicapped format ensures closely contested finishes that promise to be highly competitive.
This year’s program will feature special celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of Kensington Oval and the 10th running of the Kensington Gift. Attendees can look forward to a full day of athletic competition, complemented by commentary from race caller and media personality Tom Rehn. Amenities, including a BBQ and coffee van, will be available for guests. Spectator admission is free, making this an excellent event for families and sports enthusiasts alike.
