Supreme Quilts Over 35 Middle Distance Series – South Australian Athletic League

We are excited to announce the return of the Over 35 Middle Distance Series for the 2025/26 Season!

Thanks to sponsors, Supreme Quilts, competitors will accumulate points throughout the season at nominated races vying for a trophy and cash prize at the end of the season.

This year, there will be cash prizes in both Women’s and Men’s categories with a substantial prize pool for those with the top points at the end of the season to win the following cash prizes.

Women – Mary Karutz Cup

2^nd $200

Men – Ian Reddaway Cup

How will it work?

Athletes will accumulate points as follows in nominated races:

Enter (must compete)	1 point
3^rd in final	2 points
2^nd in final	3 points
1^st in final	4 points

Points awarded are doubled for country meets – Mt Barker, Crystal Brook and Loxton.

In the event of a tie, a count back on who obtained the most wins will be undertaken, if there is still a tie then the most 2nds and so on until a winner is determined.

If the race is a mixed over 35 race points will apply to 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd only.
