The Mort Daly Running Foundation Carnival brings the excitement of professional running to Colley Reserve, giving athletes a prime opportunity to compete at the South Australian home of pro running in the lead-up to the Bay Sheffield. Set in one of the state’s most recognised athletics venues, this carnival offers runners the chance to test themselves in a high-quality race environment, sharpen form and build momentum ahead of one of South Australia’s most prestigious foot racing events.
Featuring the Brenda Pearl 70m Sprint and the Ian Reddaway Men’s and Women 550m races, the carnival showcases some of the best talent on the SAAL circuit in a setting that is close, accessible and full of atmosphere. Athletes are encouraged to nominate and be part of a day that attracts emerging runners, experienced competitors and dedicated supporters, while families and community members are invited to come along, support the competitors and enjoy a vibrant afternoon of racing, connection and community spirit at Glenelg. Entry is free for spectators.
