The Burnside Athletic Carnival is one of the South Australian Athletic League’s standout meets and a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy a full day of athletics. As leading athletes prepare for the Bay Sheffield, spectators can watch exciting racing unfold on one of Adelaide’s premier turf tracks, with events from 70m to 1600m. With the handicap format creating close finishes, there will be plenty of action and energy throughout the day.
Bring family and friends along to enjoy the atmosphere, connect with the local athletics community, and cheer on the competitors as the day unfolds. Renowned race caller Terry McAuliffe will add to the excitement with live commentary across the carnival.
With a BBQ, coffee van, and free spectator entry, the carnival offers something for everyone and promises a welcoming day out for families, supporters, and the wider community.
