This year we will be celebrating season 2025/26 with a return to the gorgeous Mylor Oval for the Adelaide Hill Picnic Carnival.
300s will be on the card initially with the remainder of the sprint skins events designed for a bit of fun and a get together for an end of year celebration. 300s will see some competitors vie for the last points available in the series finals (under 18 and over 35). Open and under 14s 300s will also be on card.
Moving on to the 60m Sprint Skins – As per last year’s event at Belair, handicappers will be requested to handicap everyone to target irrespective of their time in the League, age in a category, or recent wins. This should ensure tight fun racing! 60m races will all be non penalty. We are aiming for 3 races each over the sprint distance. Finalists over 60m will be based on points scored. Music will be on throughout the day and we would love your requests. Fun is encouraged and there will be prizes for those with the best moves even if it is on the start line.
Following race conclusion, we will provide free platters, a good old sausage sizzle and soft drinks.
Finally, we will be presenting the 2025/2026 Season awards and hopefully relaxing in a fantastic atmosphere. Be sure to pack your picnic rug!
